Ray Bley
A self proclaimed Midwesterner, Ray cut his teeth chasing smallmouth bass starting in 2009. Through his journey, he made it a point to learn as many waterways he could around the great lakes. Although his passion is pursuing aggressive fish in both fresh and saltwater, one of his favorite experiences was chasing wary trout in the spring creeks of Wisconsin. Ray's passion became an obsession when he started fly casting instruction for Orvis in 2015. His goal has remained consistent through his years of teaching, breaking down the walls of intimidation and make fly fishing fun and accessible for all anglers.
Andrew Asher
Our local talent, Andrew is a Virginia Beach native with some stories to tell. He started chasing bluegill in local ponds when he was just 12 years old but that was just the start. Andrew's journey really began when he got a taste of fly fishing for trout in Montana. From there it was game on when he started guiding for tarpon in 2013. It doesn't matter if he's watching trout sip mayflies or poling the flats for rolling tarpon and tailing permit, Andrew loves the places fly fishing can take you and the excitement of the hunt. Whether your are trying to build confidence for a trip of a lifetime or wanting to improve your skills for the long term, Andrew is the guy to help get your there!
